How to use ok!shon.com

Registration
With SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology implemented in your website, you can fill in the required information and submit it securely. No fee will be charged for registration. Once you register, you will receive an e-mail with instructing and information to configure a user name and password.

Depositing
You are required to pay deposit in your ok!shon.com account via PayPal to begin designating us to bid on behalf of you at Yahoo Japan Auctions. Once your information is verified, you may bid 5 times the amount of your deposit. (A deposit of USD 100 would be USD 500. Without replenishing or increasing back your deposit you should be henceforth unable to designate us to bid for you on whatsoever item(s) again. Your deposit will be updated instantly in usual case.

Your deposit will be held until the parcel is dispatched from our warehouse. You are not allowed to make the payment with your deposit balance.

Searching
Search for your favorite item(s) at Yahoo Japan Auctions or via ok!shon.com Featured Auctions. section and our Search Engine to find your favorite item(s).

Noted please you should make sure your computer can display Japanese correctly. Don't worry about translation issue because there are plenty of tools from Nifty, Excite, Google and Myany for Chinese that can help you out. In fact, ok!shon.com does help you translate most of the critical information relevant to your auction. Yet, ok!shon.com is not responsible for any mistranslations or if you misunderstand the Japanese in your auction.

Placing Bid
After figuring out what item(s) you want, you can place your order. Fill in the information of your favorite item(s) with your highest bidding price and we will bid for you. Once your place the bid, it will be submitted to Yahoo instantly after verifying your account status.

Notification
All bidding result regardless of winning or losing, you will be notified for the final result by our system in the form of email addressing to your designated email account.

Shipping
If you were the winner of the auction, you will receive an invoice including the item price, service fee, bank charge and local shipping cost. Please settle the invoice ASAP. We will first arrange the item shipping to our warehouse in Japan. Once the item arrived, you may issue an overseas shipping order, fill in your preferred shipping method, or you may combine shipment for multiple auctions won and request shipment later. We will then deliver the items to you once we received both of your payment and the item(s) from the seller(s) at Yahoo Japan Auctions corresponding to your instruction given.

Note:
Given to the mode/choice/way of shipment delivery, final actual service fee may exceed the initial configuration.

Bidding fundamentals

Basic bidding

• ok!shon.com does not support Dutch auctions (where more than one of the same item is for auction).
• ok!shon.com does not carry combined auction service. All the bank charges and local shipping will be calculated individually. However, ok!shon.com supports combined oversea shipping to help you saving the cost.
• Please be noted that ok!shon.com does not support over-weight and over-size auctions bidding for our members. If we are not able to ship the item, we are forced to cancel the auction and you will be charged for any penalty fee from Yahoo and seller.

Internal bidding

Please note that we will not charge any extra fee for internal bid item anymore.

Payment

1. Service fee is based on closing price of the auction as follows:
   • USD 5 for closing price up to 2,000 YEN
   • USD 10 for closing price from 2,001 YEN to 5,000 YEN
   • USD 15 for closing price from 5,001 YEN to 10,000 YEN
   • USD 1 per 1,000 YEN for closing price above 10,000 YEN
   • USD 1 per 2,000 YEN for closing price above 50,000 YEN
2. Bank fee = USD 5
3. Local Shipping = USD 10. You will be responsible if this is above USD 10.
4. Overseas Shipping Charge = Postal Cost + 25%
5. Other Fees may includes:
   • Over-size/Over-weight surcharge (e.g. Car Parts/Hi-Fi Speaker: USD 10-20 per item). Please note that if the parcel exceed the limit by Japan Post, we can only ship it by Fedex, which is very expensive. e.g. Car body, doors, engine, seats, front spoiler will exceed limit.
   • Sales Tax
   • Seller Handling Fee
   • Fee for auction cancellation
   • Late Payment fee. 5% of outstanding balance
   • For high value transaction over 100,000 YEN. Payment processing surcharge: 1.5% of the total amount.

Payment flow

Deposit Payment
To proceed bidding your item, please pay the deposit amount which is at least 1/5 or 20% of your favourite item(s) bidding price. To do so, simply click the 'Paypal' button on left hand side. The deposit will be held until the item(s) are won and shipped to you, or you can request to get your despoit refunded free of charge within 60 days. The deposit amount will be held untill all outstanding payment is cleared. i.e. all parcels held have been dispatched.

Should you thereafter have successfully paid the deposit via Paypal to ok!shon.com. Your balance will be updated almost instantly (Subject to Paypal's workload).

Please note that your payment will be addressed to our business entity 'Mart Smart Limited'.

Payment on winning an auction
When you won from a certain auction, you will be notified about the exact bidding price you should pay. The exact payment should not exceed your previous designated bid price given to ok!shon.com.

The exact payment you finally have to pay should include bidding price balance, local shipping, bank remittance and ok!shon.com service fee. We will notify you for any local delivery fee that is higher than the default amount.

Payment on shipping(overseas) auctions
For overseas shipping fee, that would be calculated according to your preferred delivery method plus handling fee of ok!shon.com. You maybe able to combine the shipment of a number of auctions (if applicable) to save the shipping cost.

Shipping and Handling

Fudamentals

• Please use the resources we provide to estimate the cost for shipping to your home country.
• You may combine shipment of mulitple auctions won. To do so, use our shipping request form to initiate a request. ok!shon.com will dispatch all items within 1 week of your request. All Items will be recorded down when they are delivered and you will receive your invoice soon afterwards.
• Please log into My Account and request ok!shon.com to ship your items to your home country that have arrived in Japan by filling out the form. Shipping cost is the actual cost at the rate on our system plus a 25% handling fee.
• ok!shon.com will charge you the estimated overseas shipping fee based on the information (size and weight) from the auction seller. For any difference, your deposit amount will be used to settle the payment and other surcharges.

Shipping process

Shipping within Japan

When you won from a certain auction, there is immediately a shipping cost involved for collecting your items from the auction sellers WITHIN JAPAN. This is for ok!shon.com staff in Japan to collect your successful bided auction items and pack in our warehouse to ship to you later.

In this stage you will be charged a minimum rate of $10 for shipping cost within Japan. This amount is included in your invoice. If the cost of shipping is above $10, you will be charged the excess in a separate invoice. Please be reminded all auctions are handled individually and ok!shon.com provides no combined shipment at this moment.

Shipping to your home country

Once your item is delivered to our Japan warehouse, you should be notified and henceforth you can direct us with you preferred shipment delivery request. Before making a shipment delivery request, you should log in to our system to check whether your item is arrived at the warehouse.

Yet, please be noted that ok!shon.com does not store items for you in Japan. If an item is too large to hold, ok!shon.com will send it to you automatically in whatever shipping/delivery ways that is at our best judgment.

Also, if there are any customs taxes or fees charged by your location authority, you are responsible for that payment calculation and actual payment indeed
Please note there are weight and size limits for all methods other than freight. If your item exceeds these limits, the Japanese postal service will not allow us to send your item.

There are size and weight of shipping limit in ok!shon.com. If you purchased an item that goes over the size and weight requirements, you are required to ship it via Fedex which is very expensive. Please do not go over the limit as we cannot ship cars, bikes, arcade game cabins, etc.

Lost, Stolen, Damaged Items
Insurance is included with the shipment. If you find damages with item, please report to the post office. ok!shon will supply related information for you to claim.
